MK Home Cleaning Service Policy

1. Service Policy

Bookings & Cancellations

  • Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation email and provide your address and payment details.

  • Cancellation Notice: A minimum of 3 business day’s notice is required to cancel, reschedule, or suspend a service.

  • Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations with less than 1 business day’s notice incur a full cancellation fee (equal to the booked service cost) to compensate staff for lost income.

Service Guarantee

  • Bond-Back Guarantee:

    • If your property fails the exit inspection, we will return to rectify issues free of charge within 3 days of service completion.

    • Guarantee is void if:

      • The property is accessed post-cleaning for maintenance, habitation, or extended use.

      • Undisclosed hazards (e.g., biohazards, drug residue) are present.

  • Property Access: If access is delayed beyond the agreed time, services may be canceled or rescheduled.


2. Deposit & Payments

Deposit Requirements

  • Once-Off Services (e.g., end-of-lease cleans): Full upfront payment is required to secure your booking.

  • Payment Methods: Credit card, bank transfer, or cash (details provided upon booking confirmation).

Late Payments

  • Late Fee:

    • $100 fixed fee applied after the first calendar month overdue.

    • 0.288% weekly interest (15% p.a.) thereafter, capped at 30% of the original invoice amount.


3. Service Quotes

  • Validity: Quotes are valid for 30 days.

  • Scope Adjustments:

    • Additional charges apply for:

      • Undisclosed property size/condition.

      • Excessive rubbish removal or moving belongings ($60/hour rate).

    • Discounted rates for add-on services (e.g., Steam carpet/garden cleaning) booked with your vacate clean.


4. Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable Deposits:

    • Deposits are forfeited for late cancellations (<2 business day’s notice).

  • Partial/Full Refunds:

    • Refunds issued if MK Home Cleaning Service cannot fulfill the booked service.

    • No refunds for services completed per the agreed scope.

  • Disputes: Contact us within 3 days of service completion to discuss resolution.
